### What is call forwarding?
Call forwarding enables you to forward ALL calls to your mobile device, to a number that you specify in your account on your Device Settings page.
### How much does call forwarding cost?
There are no extra charges to use call forwarding, but you will be billed per minute for any calls that are connected via call forwarding.
### Can I set up call forwarding to a number outside of the United States?
No, you cannot.

## Set up call forwarding on your CDMA device
First you'll need to enable call forwarding in the Device settings on your account. To update these settings, click the edit icon at the top of the Minutes section of your device's settings.

There are three forwarding options available:
1. call forwarding can be set on phone
2. forward 'busy signal' calls to this number
3. forward 'no answer' calls to this number

### 1\. Call forwarding can be set on phone
Remember, to set call forwarding from your phone, **you must first enable that feature in your account settings (see step above)**.
When you enable this option, all calls will be forwarded to the number you set regardless of whether you are using your handset or not.
Once enabled however, missed calls **WILL NOT** go to voicemail.
To activate call forwarding from your device:
1. Dial *** 7 2**
2. Enter the area code + phone number to which you would like to forward calls
3. Press **TALK/SEND**. Wait for the confirmation tone (several fast tones, followed by a beep)
To deactivate call forwarding:
1. Dial *** 7 2 0 TALK/SEND**
2. Wait for the confirmation tone (several fast tones, followed by a beep)
Don't forget to deactivate this feature from your phone when you want to stop forwarding.
### 2\. Forward 'busy signal' calls to this number
When you enable 'busy signal' forwarding, calls are only forwarded if you are utilizing call waiting--essentially if you're on two calls. If calls are missed, they **WILL NOT** go to voicemail.
If you're just on one call though, and you ignore the second call, it will go to voicemail as normal rather than forwarding.
### 3\. Forward 'no answer' calls to this number
When you enable 'no answer' forwarding, incoming calls will ring on your line a few times before rolling over to the forwarding number.
Missed calls **WILL NOT** go to voicemail.
## Set Up Call Forwarding on a GSM Device
First you'll need to enable call forwarding in the Device settings on your account. To update these settings, click the edit icon at the top of the Minutes section of your device's settings.

There are three forwarding settings in your account for GSM devices:
1. can use call call forwarding on this phone
2. can use call forwarding on busy/no answer
3. can use call forwarding at any time
**"Can use call forwarding" must be enabled in order for the other two settings to work.** If that is not enabled the other features will not work even if they are enabled.

### 1\. Can use call call forwarding
This allows you to use any of the call forwarding settings.
### 2\. Can use call forwarding on busy/no answer
**Remember you must first enable "Can use call forwarding" before enabling this setting or it will not work.**
When you enable this type of call forwarding you are essentially circumventing your voicemail.
Once you've enabled this feature set your call forwarding number on your phone using the following dialing codes.
**No answer call forwarding**
1. Dial *** * 61 *** **1****PhoneNumber #**
* If you get an error message, try dialing *** * 61 * + 1PhoneNumber #**
2. Press **TALK/SEND**
3. Wait for registration message.
To turn this off:
1. Dial **# # 61 #**
2. Press **TALK/SEND**
3. Wait for message confirming call forwarding has been disabled.
**Unreachable call forwarding**
Use this if you're in an area where you don't get reception.
1. Dial *** * 62 *** **1****PhoneNumber #**
* If you get an error message, try dialing *** * 62 * + 1PhoneNumber #**
2. Press **TALK/SEND**
3. Wait for registration message.
To turn this off:
1. Dial **# # 62 #**
2. Press **TALK/SEND**
3. Wait for message confirming call forwarding has been disabled.
**Busy call forwarding**
1. Dial *** * 67 *** **1****PhoneNumber #**
1. If you get an error message, try dialing *** * 67 * + 1PhoneNumber #**
2. Press **TALK/SEND**
3. Wait for registration message.
To turn this off:
1. Dial **# # 67 #**
2. Press **TALK/SEND**
3. Wait for message confirming call forwarding has been disabled.
### 3\. Can use call forwarding at any time
**Remember you must first enable "Can use call forwarding" before enabling this setting or it will not work.**
When you enable this and set up a number all incoming calls will be forwarded no matter what. No calls will go to voicemail.
1. Dial *** * 21** **1****PhoneNumber #**
* If you get an error message, try dialing *** * 21 * + 1PhoneNumber #**
2. Press **TALK/SEND**
3. Wait for registration message.
To turn this off:
1. Dial **# # 21 #**
* If you get an error message, try dialing *** * 21 * + 1PhoneNumber #**
2. Press **TALK/SEND**
3. Wait for message confirming call forwarding has been disabled.
### To disable call forwarding
To disable all call forwarding:
1. Dial **# # 004 #**
2. Tap Call
3. Wait for message confirming all call forwarding has been disabled.
### Call Waiting
To turn call waiting on:
1. Dial * **43 #**
2. Tap Call
3. Wait for message confirming call waiting has been enabled.
To turn it off:
1. Dial **# 43 #**
2. Tap Call
3. Wait for message confirming all call waiting has been disabled.
